Lake Buchanan Guide Report
#1
LAKE BUCHANAN: Water clear-murky; 55 degrees; 1015.68':

Black Bass are very good in 4'-10' of water in creeks and pockets over rockpiles & ledges on crawfish Rat-L-Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com),7/16 oz. tungsten spinnerbaits (www.terminatorlures.com) and crawfish Whacky Sticks (www.cremelure.com). Lots of big pre-spawn fish still out
deeper where a black/blue Snap Back creature bait or cyberflexx pumpin lizard with chartreuse tail on a Carolina rig will get to them.

Stripers are very good around Garrett and Shaw Islands trolling 1/2 oz. white/blue Hyper Striper (www.kgenterprise.com) jig and tight-lining live bait.

White Bass are good from Paradise Point to the river vertically jigging silver or blue 1/4 oz. Pirk Minnows, Tiny Traps and Spoiler Shads under birds.

Sounds good to me. Starting Now is one of the best times of the year to catch one of those fat females.
