The real travesty at Strawberry is the dumbing down of our anglers by not allowing the filleting of Kokes while at Strawberry Reservoir.

Yes but the real problem is fisherman can't tell the difference between a kokanee  and a rainbow.

But MOST of 'em can tell it's a fish.

YES< and many anglers at Strawberry can't tell the difference between a cutthroat and a rainbow. I have seen so many people cleaning Cutts and not believe me when I tell them they are Cutts. They get combative and argue that they are rainbows?? I think they could put a 4 Cutt limit any size and let people take them home and discourage catching more and releasing them. So many die from deep hooking and poor handling. I wouldn't be surprised if less fish were killed if people caught there 4 and headed home! There is certainly no shortage of Cutts up there.
