Lost Creek Report
#1
Cookie and the Cowboy made their  way up to Lost Creek Monday Night after the eclipse. Fished on the north side just up from the dam. Birds were really carrying on. Some surface activity as the fish were freed from thier ice tomb. Ice was back about 50 yards. Normally that is game on for us as the hungry buggers are reased from the dark tomb. But alas our spring trend continues. We picked up a rainbow a splake and a cut. Missed a few other. But not a fast ice off bite at all. I am going to blame the eclispe - because - i need something blame other than me Wink Then Cookies MS starting really messing with her so we called it after a couple hrs.

Fish hit silver bling and a worm.

Turkeys and deer everywhere

Taking the fishing club back up Friday after school. Hopefully the fish will behave better.

Shorter video but a fun one for us.

Going out towards locomotive springs Saturday to explore. Never been up there. Might even make it to the Grouse Range. Who knows. Planning to metal detect some areas.

Cheers.
Remember: keep the lid on the worms, share your jerky, and stop by to say hi to Cookie and the Cowboy-Pirate crew

Thanks for the report and video Lance, too bad the catching was so slow but my guess is that will be changing very soon. Did you did better today?
Locomotive Springs can be good at times, we use to go up there and hunt rabbits, then do a little fishing.

The DWR stocks about 500 catchable sized rainbows in each one of the springs (2) each year.
The place can be fun.
You don't expect to find any fishing in that terrain. Smile
