Rockport Perch
#1
I’m not having any luck finding perch at Rockport in the three trips I’ve made there so far this spring. Any idea when they will move in closer to shore where I usually find them? I am fishing from a boat. Thanks in advance for any comments!

Hit my shoreline spot on the highway side from 8-11:30.  Found some keeper perch and one smallie amongst the oodles of 4-6" perchies.  Lots of shore fishermen so couldn't move up & down as much I would have liked to.  Lighter-colored small plastics in the 1-2" range the ticket.  Threw some jerkbaits and some 4" grubs, but no takers.  Got some fish below a bobber, but wished I would have brought my ice fishing ammo.  About 2-doz boats out and seemed like fishermen off every point.  Water level way up from a week or so ago.  The perch were concentrated in the 4-10' depths.
