conditions at Electric Lake/huntington/cleveland?
#1
Does anyone know the condtions at these lakes? I'm assuming the ice is off now and most of the snow melted?

My daughter was at Huntington last Saturday the 10th and it was still fully capped. I was there last year on Memorial day and it was still capped and it did not clear until June 3. I can't speak for Electric or Cleveland but they are a little lower and may clear earlier. UDOT has a good traffic cam just up the road from Huntington if you want to see the snow but I would not recommend heading to Huntington for open water fishing before June without some intel to be sure it is ice free.

I will second that information.  All that snow has to melt off the ice before it can start to thin out. Smile

As of yesterday Cleveland is completely open water and Huntington has about 20-40 feet of open water around the edges based on satellite images. I know the north end of Electric has a good amount of open water but there is a cloud on the south end covering it from the satellite images.
