Rockport and a pile of Kids
#1
Such a great time to get kids on fish. Action from the west shore was red hot with in easy cast range of kids. Took my niece's and nephews for a morning run. A bit windy early but when it calmed down the bite took off. Simple jig and a bobber tipped with bait or a bottom rig. Shaloows with flodded brush was loaded. Double set ups did well. Cooked em right by the shore. Good times great memories.

Oh I should mention the whole trip got started when one of niece's door dashed us a couple of times and left us cute notes asking if we would take them fishing. Gota love an invite like that.

Video is a hoot

Great video of your crew & all the kids.  The ones who become lifelong fishers will re-visit that spot with fond memories.  I've walked down that trail many a time to ice fish & shore fish.  That big concrete "bunker" just to the north must be several feet under water by now.

Now don't you feel guilty for keeping those impressionable youngsters from getting involved in all the other "stuff" that kids seem to get into these days?
