Strawberry
#1
Went to strawberry this morning for a change of scenery. Spent 4 hours catching cutts on everything I put out then about 11 either I found the kokes or they decided to eat and I caught a limit. Biggest was 18”. All on orange and chartreuse hoochie behind a brass dodger at 35ft. The wind stayed calm until past noon and no power squadron sure was nice.

Nice work! Good job waiting them out. Earlier reports I had were best action 7-9:30 then dead for kokes and then some action again in late afternoon. But kokes can be funny when they decide to cooperate its game on. I always wonder if I found them or found what they wanted or they just decided to bite and would have hit what I was using before? It think that’s why I like chasing them so much, trying to figure them out!

I've found that Kokes change what colors and gear they want throughout the day, based on light conditions. Colors that work early for me rarely work later in the day, and vise versa.

If you've got the wrong color on, but you keep it down there long enough, it very well might work.... eventually.
