I had the privilege of fishing with Obifishkenobi this morning at Willard. He offered to show me the ways of the Jedi with regards to flig fishing for cats. I got to see some of Tube Dudes finest whirly fligs in action. That was the lure we used. We started a little after 6:00 am and finished by 11:00. The fishing was slower for Obifishkenobi but great for me. We boated 7 or 8, missed at least that many. Weather was perfect and boat traffic light. Fished mostly in 10 fow. Things I learned:
1. .4-.6 mph
2. Zig zag better than trolling strait.
3. Keep bait fresh
4. When you catch one, swing back thru that spot
5. Learned how to filet and cook catfish.
6. Bullet weight—swivel—24 to 30 in leader—flig
7. Seems to be fewer bugs at sun up than sunset
8. Catfish are really fun to catch!

Thanks to Obifishkenobi for taking time on a busy Sat to show me the way. I had a blast and made a new friend!
