LAKE BUCHANAN
#1
We finally have the STRIPER FISHING that we have been waiting for 2 month for. Cold fronts with rain and wind have kept the fish Confused and held them back from their usual spawning patterns. But now our clients are catching plenty of stripers in the 20"-28" range fishing early in 4'-8' of water
using plastic jerkbaits, 2" or 3" (Creme Lures) Lit'l Fishie Shads and Terminator spinnerbaits! Once the sun gets up, about midmorning we move out to deeper water and vertically jig white Curb's bucktails with plastic trailers and drift live bait. LARGEMOUTH fishing is very good with blacks moving onto or near spawning areas using channels and ditches. Gold Shiner Terminator spinnerbaits, crawfish 'Traps,
3" crawfish (Creme Lures) Super Tubes and 2" Lit'l Fishie Shad and Devil' Tongues are all producing fish up to 8 lb.
TO BOOK A GUIDED TRIP CONTACT JR'S GUIDE SERVICE
www.jrguideservice.com.
