Captain Scott Wigal Report
#1
Finally Ole Mother Nature is smiling on us offshore guides. The past few days were absolutely gorgeous. The wahoo action was hit and miss but there are some out there. I had a large school of king mackerel chummed behind the boat at one of the rocks with a few blackfin tuna and some nice dolphin mixed in but they all were very finicky to take a bait with a hook mixed in. Red snapper season opens April 21 and is looking very promising, we released over 200 snapper all well over legal size while checking out some wrecks. The 35 Bertram ran like a top and I'm looking forward to a great new season. See you in the Blue water, Captain Scott Wigal
