Since there has been some interest in Newton lately I thought I'd get some pics to show where the lake is at now.
Pic newton_lastsept.jpg shows where newton was at its lowest point last fall.
Pic newton_drought02.jpg shows the lake in relation to the boat ramp still several feet out of the water but launchable.
Pic newton_drought03.jpg shows that the lake is well above its lowest point but still in bad shape.
It was total mud the other day when I took these pics.

to see it so low. I hope April turns out to be really wet. We could really use a couple of good spring dumpings to help us out. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
