[font "Georgia,Verdana"][size 3] PROVO — Arsenic levels in fish in the American Fork River are down, prompting the Forest Service to lift a 2001 fish-consumption advisory, a Trout Unlimited official said.
Ted Fitzgerald, a former Forest Service official now with Trout Unlimited, last week told Utah County's Council of Governments that the upper reaches of the river will be removed from the Impaired Rivers List but the lower reaches will remain on the list.

FlyFishingMoose,

Thank you for the good info. I was bummed that it had the advisory. It kind of took the fun out of it. But I am looking forward to going again. I just wish you didn't have to pay just to drive up there and fish.

If I want arsenic I'll stick to the wild almonds near St. George.
