Spend the day with a couple friends and there kids fishing. We hit Enterprise first and watched the water boil with fish. Looked real promising but noticed everybody was leaving. I was catching flies and missed everything. Only a couple fat 12" bows were caught with PB. Olive midge was getting me plenty of hits and nothing with a dry. Should of went with a emerger or something different.
We left to see how Newcastle was doing. Caught a couple small bows but very slow. Golden Shiners are just starting to get active and caught a couple of them. All ended up getting the rock test and none passed. Oh well the kids had more fun playing. Plenty of people were fishing and didn't see anybody catch anything. Next trip is for Smallies in May.
