Thats usually the way it works. Weathers nice when your working and bad when you have outdoor things planned with the kids. But its always nice when the wife has outside chores.

Woke the kids up at 8:00 to get out to Willow pond, same things happend to us, now we are stuck in the house. I think the kids do have me talked into buying a new fish for our fish tank... will not be the same as catching one, but oh well.

Don't buy fish for your fish tank, it would be interesting to put fish that you catch in the tank such as walleyes, perch, bass and trout, etc.

You gotta get a bigger tank for your tiger muskellunge... that's a different story entirely ha ha.

That would be better than those fancy colored Nemo that you see in doctors office...

Hey, you think you've got reasons to whine?

It looks like I could be hunting turkeys down in Kane Co. in the rain come Saturday. THAT is reason to be bummed. I don't like trying to get those durn birds to cooperate in the rain. [Tongue]

Although bluegills would be better pets than guppies, transferring live fish is illegal in Utah. I know you can buy bass (i'm sure other species too) from different places, just to give you a heads up. That'd suck to get a fine for a pet. I think the main reason is that sometimes people would get tired of their pet fish and then dump it into a different water from which it came and start to off-set the balance.

hmmmmm bass in my backyard pond. that would be neat but would have to make the pond biger. hmmmm sounds like a plan? I remember growing up a neighbor had converted most of his back yard into ponds and had trout in them.
is it leagal to buy bass in utah? and if so where can I get some?

Ha ha... I was just jokin' around because I'm tired of seeing Nemo and his cousins because I cannot relate to him because I don't fish those species.

I think all fishermen can relate to gamefish in tanks, LMAO

I would love to see a tiger muskie in a big tank at the outdoors expo along with the bass and trout for some Berkley's Frenzy lure demo...

Again, I'm just kidding because the people would shake their heads in a frenzy as they see a frenzy lure pass by! I don't think I want see anybody like that in a permanent psychological state like that while driving home after the outdoors expo...
