From San Jose at junction Hwy's 101, I-680; take Hwy 101 S, go 18 mi. Take Cochran Rd. exit, go E 3 mi. to lake.
Long, narrow, fluctuating impoundment inundates Coyote and Las Animas creeks. Speed limit of 5 MPH. Picnic sites, no camping. Boat access and boat ramp.
Local fishing: Largemouth bass, crappie, catfish and sunfish.
