Stocking fish info

Anyone know were i can get info on the waters that have been stocked or are scheduled to be stocked this year?

the Dwr sight usually lists a few of the ponds that they have stocked under there weekly fishing reports

if you can catch an dwr officer at a lake they will tell you when thay are stocking it, as they are there when they stock it. or try calling one of the hatcheries, if you call the dwr you get the I don't know responce. good luck

What region are you looking for info on? Northern? Central? Southern?

Once you figure that out, call the offices for that region, and ask for a fisheries biologist, they should be able to give you an idea...

Many lakes are stocked in both the spring and fall. Most lakes that you are going to want to fish have most likely already been stocked. In all reality, you don't need to know when the lakes have been stocked, because there are going to be fish readily available for catching anyway. Pick your favorite destination, and go fish it!
