Canyon Lake & Upper Guadalupe River Guide Report

CANYON LAKE: Water clearing; 68 degrees; 910':

Largemouth are good along buckbrush & timber in 5'-8'on white Terminator spinnerbaits (www.canyonlakefishing.com), watermelon/red Bush Pigs and green pumpkin Whacky Sticks (www.cremelure.com) w/a char. tail wacky rigged on a 3/0 "K" Wacky Hook (www.falconlures.com), or completely unweighted.

Smallmouth are very good to 3 lbs. along 5'-10' breaklines on white tungsten spinnerbaits, watermelon/red Craw Tubes and pumpkin Sliding Weight Craw Fish, Jr. (www.canyonlakefishing.com).

Stripers are fair at first light in 30'-50' at creek and main channel intersections on white Snap Back jerkbaits on jigheads and Rat-L-Traps (www.rat-l-trap.com).

White Bass are fair to good at daylight along mainlake points on Terminator In-Line spinners, blue back Spoiler Shads and chrome Tiny Traps.

Crappie are fair tight to trees and brushes on white 1/32 oz. Curb's jigs, silver
