Minnows in Scofield
#1
Last time I went to Fish Creek, I dropped over the top and fished by the dam in the lake for a minute or two to see if my river tactics would get me anything in the lake. All I caught were a couple of liitle minnows...... Black with gray sides and a gold stripe running all the way down the side to the tail......anyone know what those things are?? I've fished Scofield a lot, well I did when I first moved here anyway and I've never caught anything like that.... I've only caught Bows, Cutts, and Crawdads.... Does anybody have any idea what these little baitfish were?? Are they chubs or something??

Red shiners are a member of the chub family. They are great for bait (of course they can't be used live).
