Lake LBJ Guide Report
#1
LAKE LBJ: Water stained, 70 degrees; 824.63':

Black Bass are fair to good at first light along 5' - 8' breaklines on 1/4 oz. chart/blue Terminator spinnerbaits (www.terminatorlures.com), watermelon/red Craw Tube (www.cremelure.com) and Wiggle Warts. If the bite slows during a clear day (which we've had very few of lately), fish are going to be moving under boat docks and suspending along deep water channel breaklines. An Ice Tea or watermelon/red flake Scoundrel worm rigged wacky style on a 2/0 "K" Wacky Hook (www.falconlures.com) is the perfect tool for these conditions.

White Bass are good at night and first light along drop offs of sloping points on blue back Spoiler Shads, clear Rat-L-Tops (www.rat-l-trap.com).

Crappie are fair on brushpiles in 15' of water on 1/32 oz.
white Curb's crappie jigs, silver Swirltail grubs and live minnows.
