When and Where?

When and Where is a good time and place to catch some of those big Bear Lake Cutts? Do they spawn in the spring? Are they in around the rock pile or do they like to be along the shorlines? What lures/techniques work the best? I think I'm going to take the kids up next weekend.

I don't know if this helps but I usually go in December in the rocks. Usually can get em with bright colored maribou jigs tiped with a crawler. If you go when the whitefish are spawning it can make a great mixed bag type of deal.--LICKER

They congregate at inflow streams in the spring and are vulnerable. Watch for the DWR fishing closures around the inflows.
