here's the story as u found it on a couple steelhead sites

I was on the boat. The fish officially weighed 23 lbs. 0 oz. at Bunyon Town Marina. That lucky angler is my cousin Paul Huber from Grand Haven. The Photo was taken by boat owner Dave Knox from Osseo. We were trolling out of Oscoda on April 23, 2004 with large jointed Rapalas. This is the truly the FISH of a lifetime. 3 Lifetimes. We had over 140 years of fishing experience on the boat. This is the first 20+ pounder anyone of us has ever seen in the flesh. MDNR records only go back 10 years that I could find. I looked in the MDNR Master Angler records and it is the #1 weight Steelhead for Lake Huron in the last 10 Years, #5 in the State once it is entered into the Master Angler records. If we would have pulled lines and had this fish weighed immediately, it may have made it to #3!!
