[size 2]well the spring striper fishing is shaping up to the same as last year one day you can slaughter them the next NADA you just have to hope you pick the right day same with Fluke fishing most are getting some keepers and some the SKUNK "you should have been here yesterday" becomes the rule right now.
The water temps are up and down with the weird air temp changes which is turning the fish on and off. Weakfish are starting to show up on the sodbanks behind Island Beach state park and in the inlet.
About all I can say right now is cross your fingers when you pick your day of fishing I'm gonna try to get out this week for another shot at Stripers before they travel north for the summer O and I forgot the blues are always around and willing to bite good fight
but not good table fare[/size]
