please for the love of god tell me that this heat has turned on the smallies up there!!!!!!!!!! goin up 2nite bout 6 hopin to get a few from the tube. any advice fellas?

I've been up there a few times trying to get a decent smallie...no luck yet. I've caught quite a few on crank baits and senkos. Good luck, let us know how you do.

If the smallies down south haven't been hot yet so I don't think the nette is hot yet. Then again our smallies open there mouth and a school of shiners will swim in.

If you looking for bigger fish this is the best time to do it.

well we got out last nite about 7 and tried everything. no bass. floated over to the south shore and caught some big perch about 6" off the bank 10-12 inchers. i'm gonna let u guys in on a secret for perch. put anything on the end of your line that looks like it may live in water, live near water, drink water or may have heard water exists. cast out. wait 1.7 seconds for perch, set hook. this should help out if yer bored from no bass action. bout 9 when the water glassed up caught some nice 14-18" rainbows on rooster tails.
