Fished Moon Lake from the shore Thursday and Friday, fishing was very slow. Wanting to get the skunk off of me, I grabbed my flypole and hiked up the little creek that feeds the lake, caught a dozen tiny brookies and one very nice cutthroat. It sure is fun watching those hungrey little fish swim 10 feet to grab your fly.

I'm guessing you camped overnight. How was the campground? Lots of beach at the lake? I hope to go up that way over some summer holiday weekend. Road to the lake OK, too?

At the lake I used everything in the tackle box, worms, powerbait, spinners, etc... on the small creek a royal wulff never lets me down. The road to the lake is in great shape, and campgrounds were very nice.
