Well i usually take the whole family fishing son,daughter ,wife ,dog ,brother in law and his friend.It ended up just me and my brother in law.Well we started out a little late left the house at 8am.We went to e-lake at the boat ramp side.We were there for 2 hours and not a bite!IThere were tons of red sided minnows there but i forgot my minnow trap![pirate] We would have had better luck on fresh minnows.There were 2 guys on tubes and i heard them say they only caught 1 cutt all morning . Well we decided to go to the dam side of e-lake we have had much better luck there in the past.But we stopped atr huntington on the way there and fished for about an hour.I caught a 12 tiger and that was all we caught !We tried spoons ,spinners,worms,minnows and nothing.Didnt see anyone else catch anything while we were there.So far our trip wasnt looking to promising!Well we went to e-lake on the dam side my b-law threw a minnow in got a hit within a coule of minutes.I was jigging with spoons and caught the first fish.It was a 15 inch cutt.I got a lot of hits and trailers with my spoon and landed 3 cuttsall between 14-16 inches.My b-law caught 1 on a worm .We decided to leave and try scofield.I have had luck there in the afternoons.We got there and we started out with spoons and spinners .I hooked a big one but it got away.My b-law had a minnow and didnt want to use it so i did.It took about a couple of minutes and then bam i had a big fish on.It ended being a 19 inch cutt.so after a while we decided to leave and go eat before going to utah lake.Utah lake continued on another post.
