I have seen a bunch of people drive through the north gate at lincioln and drive right to the water. Now is that legal?Isnt that land private property?Just curious.I dont want to be the first one to get in trouble if i do drive down there.

If you mean the gate that is on the north marina dike, if it is open I wouldn't be concerned about driving through it. If you mean the various dirt roads that take off from the main road on the point of Lincoln Beach (near the concrete building) yes, that is supposed to not be accessible by vehicle. They keep putting up the signs, and repairing the fence, but people keep tearing both down and accessing the area by vehicle.

I've gotta go with you on this one Ron. As a kid I used to get hauled out and dropped off to camp all along that area. I was checked by a warden there twice while ice fishing last winter and not a word was said although I accessed it like most did through the north dike gate.
