Emerald Lake

I am going hiking up around Timpanogas and was wondering if Emerald Lake has any fish in it. I can't find any information on line about it.

I doubt it it's right on the glacier -- iced over for too much of the year, no outlet and probably low oxygen content because of that.

I would highly doubt that there are any fish in Emerald Lake. My friends and I went swimming in it one year and I still don't think I have unthawed all the way. I wouldn't be surprised if it froze entirely solid in the winter months. We were there in the early summer and still had to break a little ice to get some swimming in. I would say no on the fish and would discourage anyone from swimming there.

Iv'e hiked up there also and agree, toooooo cold. But give us back a post if you find anything out from the ranger.
