Willard Wiper Question
#1
I know that a wiper is a cross between and white bass and a stiped bass. However, I never read reports of white bass or striped bass caught out of Willard - only the wipers. Is it to be understood that the Wipers are the only type of bass in the bay AND do they reproduce exclusively with other wipers?

I appreciate the help.

Since wipers are hybrids, and therefore sterile, it's safe to say that all the wipers in WB are from the DWR plantings, and IF there are white and or striped bass in WB, they are going to be few and far between and I do not believe they interbreed naturally....

Yes, wipers are the only Bass in the lake, there are also Smallmouth bass but, there are no Stripers or Whitebass. And no they do not reproduce with other wipers because they are sterile.
