CANYON LAKE: Water clear; 83 degrees; 910':

Largemouth are good at first light in 4'-10' feet on clear Rat-L-Tops (www.rat-l-trap.com), silver Terminator(www.canyonlakefishing.com) buzzbaits and 4" crawfish Whacky Sticks (www.cremelure.com) or Senkos (www.canyonlakefishing.com) worked along the edge of buckbrush. Later, working standing timber in 14'-20' w/ watermelon/red Bush Pigs (www.cremelure.com) or Brush Hogs and green-pumpkin finesse jigs w/Uncle Josh (www.unclejosh.com) trailers & pump/chart. Whacky Sticks
or Senkos (www.canyonlakefishing.com) produce.

Smallmouth are fair to good in 12'-25' on pumpkin Devil's Tongues on drop shot rigs, smoke/red flake Snap Back (www.terminatorlures.com)tubes & rootbeer/green flake 3" grubs.

Stripers are slow to fair trolling 1/2 oz. white/gray Hyper Striper jigs (www.kgenterprise.com) or tight-lining live perch or goldfish in 60'-70' of water. No topwater or subsurface action.

White Bass are good at night under green lights on Swirltail grubs.

Crappie are good in 10'-20' tight to standing timber on Curb's crappie jigs and live minnows.
