My new sahara Shimano reel will be here on the 21st along with a new rod. It is a 7' 6" that is to replace one that broke over 3 years ago. Hope it woks out. I will have a report for you all tomorrow and i will let you know how i like my new set up.

Got the rod and reel today and they make a GREAT combo, it will be my rod for spin fishing the Uintas and other small lakes and streams. Looks like i will be heading to Willard on Friday instead of the Uintas on Saterday so i will let the Whipers give the new combo a work out, it should be a fun one.
Went up Logan canyon this afternoon and used the new combo and really like it, caught one on my first cast and and some others. 8 in all 7 cutts and one brown. Can't waint to get to the Uintas to try it out. [signature] |
