Tiger Muskies in......
#1
i know there are tiger muskie in newton res. but i never see any reports of people catching them.

Are they still in there? are they just not pursed heavily there?
Have they not gotten to good sizes? i read they where first planted there in 1996. why is this res. not as popular for muskie as pineview?

Three years ago my son and I fish it and we caught a few large
mouth on spinnerbaits all of them were about 8" to 12" and we
were fishing down by the dam and my son caught a 41" and it
looked like a snake it was so dam skinny and turn it loose because
of that. And lets not forget the water skiers there was so many
that at times they were 30' from our boat because nobody in
this state writes tickets for this unless it"s on the fourth of July
or the twenty fourth............

From what i understand most if not all the muskies are dead and gone. Due to the water shortage there has not been enough water for most of the fish (that use to be in Newton) to survive.
