I always enjoy looking at the pictures people post so here are a few from a trip we made to Beaver last weekend. These Northern Pike were caught on private property. I have a nephew that lives in Beaver that knows the owners(farmers). If you look close you will see a rubber mouse in the mouth of one of the fish and a Rapala in the other. Rubber mice, rubber frogs, or a Rapala caught all the fish. The one pond had a lot of moss so you had to use something that floats on the top. These fish are alot of fun to catch. They are real aggresive. You see a ripple coming towards your lure, sometimes from 20' away, and then an explosion of water by the lure. You better be ready and keep your line tight. If you don't use steel leader say goog-bye to your lure and the fish. We hope to head up to Willard this afternoon for one last try at the Strippers.
Happy Fishing!!!

Great pictures! I've never fished for pike before. After seeing your picture I might just have to give it a try. Al

Great pictures! It's even better that you caught some on topwater. That's gotta be a thrill. I've always wanted to catch some pike using topwater baits, but have yet to have success.
