Has anyone tried these bad boys? They look good. How are they compared to yamamotos & Kinami?

Let me say this. Yamamoto's are a hell of a bait, but since I've tried the Maniac there is no comparison. The maniacs color selection is a ton better. The worm itself holds together longer, which gives you more than one fish per bait. The thing that I have noticed the most is the price difference. The maniacs are like two bucks cheaper. I've fished with them on Flamming Gorge, the Snake and Jordanell and the Maniacs have always out produced all my regular stuff. But you need to try for your self. Check out the 4 inch changeable craw with the orange tip, its kick butt. Also check out Predators post ( "I don't know what to say") I think he said it all in that one. But as for the kinami baits I have never tried them so I can't say.

[cool]Thanks for the valueable info there, Skeeter2. I'm very new (brand new) to fishing plastics, so this stuff is very helpful! Predator's and tomegun's report was very helpful too. This forum rules!!!

Heres the honest truth of the matter.
I do not believe in magic lures. You know as well as I do that no one lure is the cure all for everything. You want to be good? You better have an arsenal, and know how to use it. BUT, you better have some maniacs in your ammo. I love talking up the maniacs for a few reasons, First, they catch fish. Big fish at that. Second, custom colors, scent options, and salt options. Try getting that from yammamoto. Third, they are a local company. Supporting the local economy is always a plus. Fourth, when every fish in a lake has seen 1000 senkos juat a little variety can make the difference. You want to use senkos on mantua? Gotta go saltless. You want a short bait with a big dia? 3 inch senkos arent gonna do it. Want mountian west color patterns? Gotta go maniac. Plus the owner is a really nice guy. Very friendly and customer service oriented. He did me a huge favor and was late in taking his wife out to the movies in order to get me what I needed for the next day. I own a grundle of senkos from yammamoto. They work, but they work better if you die them. Why die them when you can get them made custom at maniac? [signature]

I just wanted to let you guys know some of what I have to offer.First off we use all top quality materials for all of our lures.and they are all hand made. You can have several custom options. Theres the no salt option. Some people like their stick worms to float, When using them split shotting, drop shotting, carolina rigging, texas, etc. The salt makes the worm sink slow without using a weight. Salt makes wacky rigging possible without using a weight. Without salt the worm will typically have a little better action and it will last longer and will float or have an extremely slow fall depending on how heavy the hook is your using. There is also scent that can be cooked into the plastic currently we have crawfish, shad and garlic scent available.also you can customize color and or glitter color/size.There seems to be alot of questions about maniac stick worms verses Senkos. All i can say is try the maniac sticks and see for yourself. Feel free to email me any time with questions or concerns.
