Mandatory Catch-And-Release Ends For Toho Largemouths

KISSIMMEE, FL—The temporary catch-and-release regulation on Lake Tohopekaliga's largemouth bass was lifted August 13. Officials say the requirement was removed because the drawdown is officially over and the lake has refilled to low pool (52 feet above mean sea level).

In addition, the 14-inch minimum-size regulation for black bass south and east of the Suwannee River has been reinstated. The limit is five black bass per person per day, only one of which may exceed 22 inches in length.
