Kentucky Lake & Lake Barkley
#1
Fishing has slowed considerably this past week. Whitebass have slowed the most. The winds have blown the past five or six days. The surface temp has dropped to near 80 for the first time in weeks. The baitfish that was holding off the river has started moving to the mouths of the major bays. The whitebass and largemouths will move with them. The fist signs of fall trend have started to show. Bluegill are excellent as well as catfish. Bluegill have started getting active with the cooler temps. The catfish are active along the river. We need one or two days for the weather to get stable and fishing will improve again.

TIP: Start think of what to do as the water cools

BITS AND PIECES: I don't want to forget what I forgot, but I guess I'm going to have to try.

www.kentuckylakebarkley.com
