BUCHANAN Water clear; 80 degrees; 2.45' low. Black bass are fair to good on 7/16oz. white/chartreuse Terminator spinnerbaits, green back Photon crankbaits, and wacky rigged 6in. Ice Tea Scoundrel worms over flats and ledges in 4 - 10 feet early. Striped bass are fair down rigging white/blue ½oz. Hyper Striper jigs from Flag Island to the dam, and by jigging Pirk Minnows and drifting live bait in 28 - 35 feet. White bass are slow and small on main creek points in 25 feet. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are good at the mouth of the river. Yellow and blue catfish are fair to good on juglines.

CANYON LAKE Water clear; 80 degrees; 0.50' high. Black bass to 6 pounds are very good on Whacky Sticks along break lines early, and later on smoke/red flake Snap Back tubes and Texas rigged watermelon/red Scoundrel worms in 15 - 20 feet. Striped bass are slow 70 - 80 feet deep in 100 feet near the dam. White bass are slow. Smallmouth bass to 3 pounds are good on smoke-red Snap Back tubes and root beer curl tail grubs in 20 feet. Crappie are fair to good on 1/16oz. white Curb's crappie jigs, white/blue tube jigs, and live minnows in 12 - 20 feet. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish to 8 pounds are good upriver.

COLORADO RIVER (At Colorado Bend State Park) Water stained. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on green topwaters and minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows and small green tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are good on stinkbait, shrimp, liver, and nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are slow
