although i dont know how to fish for walleye, and i only catch them when i am not fishing for them. i have caught them incidentally in several spots. i have caught several north of pelican point on inflated night crawlers fishing for cats. i have also caught a few out of one of my cat spots, which is just a section of cobblestone bottom with a 1/2 mile of sand on both sides around it. i think that if more poeple opened there horizons and searched for them threwout the lake, and didnt focus on the spots that they know hold fish, but get hammered, they would find more, and probably bigger walleyes. but that is just my opinion.

The DWR report on Utah Lake State Park reported an angler with 4 walleyes, one close to 8 lbs, caught them on the North Jetty. Didn't say what it was caught on, but interesting to note that walleyes are roaming the lake right now, as Doug Miller would say, putting on the feedbag.
