Has anyone been to the ponds in Kaysville lately?

I fished it last Sunday. We got alot of bass but none with much size. My grandson was using a white roostertail, I used a worm all natural.I have a funny story about the worm thing. I was fishing by a big pipe and had a little blue gill take my hook as I was reeling him in a really really large bass shot out of the pipe and tried to get that little blue gill. It scared the crap out of me and the little gill. Needless to say I didn't get the bass and had to untangle the gill from the reeds that he shot into to get away from the bass. We saw that bass again but he wouldn't take anything we threw at him.
Didn't really try for the cats. We may hit it again this weekend sometime.
