My oldest boy and myself fished Bear Lake Saturtday and boated 7 fish total. We caught 6 macs and 1 cutt. The macs were all small except two went close to eight pounds (see pics). The cutt was around four pounds. All were released to fight another day. We fished in 77 feet of water just off Gus's point. We jigged tubes tipped with cisco. There were four other boats but we only seen one other fish caught. We fished from 6:00am until 1:30. We could have had quite a few more fish boated if we could have hooked everything that hit. We missed quite a few because they would hit only once and be gone. Great weather and pretty good fishing made for another great day on the Bear.

nice report..... and awsome fish... i would love to catch a mack over 10lbs... i have only caught pups and one thru the ice at the rockpile that was about 5lbs.

If you don't mind my asking, what color tubes were they hitting? I am going out on Saturday with my brother and dad and would like to catch some macks. I am still chasing anything bigger than the 6 pounder I caught two weekends ago. Any information would be appreciated.
