Rogue River - Upper - September 29th, 2004
supplied by: Trophy Waters
FISHING: Excellent
September 29th: The River is down to 999 cubic feet per second. River temp is at 45 degrees (ouch that’s cold for swinging, but still worth a shot) and the fish count as of September 20 is 6,733. From last Wednesday to this Wednesday the fishing for the Trophy Waters Guide Staff has been very solid. Reports from fisherman on foot have been good too.

Eggs, Sept’Ober soft hackle, Agent Orange, Copper nymphs with rubber legs, and etc………………….no big changes in flies except some day have been all about the egg.

If a picture is worth a thousand words…………..well here is 15,000 more words about last weeks fishing. Good morning, everyone..We should have some good fishing over the weekend especially in the lower system from tidewater down. Expecting mild temperatures sunshine with clouds. Arriving late last night, fresh skeined and single eggs if your supply is depleted. Also, fresh, whole coho and salmon as well if your cooler has been empty lately.

FISHING: Good
River Level and Flow [click here]

The weather is very pleasant and the fishing is good especially in the lower system. Ghost Hole, Bay and Oyster House all have been producing. The rivers are 3.5 ft and you can still wrestle a bright one. Herring, spinners and kwikfish will work best for the lower system. For tidewater and rivers make sure you have good eggs and shrimp.
