Just a heads up on Pelican Lake. The ramp will be closed by the BLM for about the next month for repairs to the jetty. The fishing has slowed way down and the water is very low. However, lots of water fowlers use it in the fall and just wanted to let you know about the closure.

Thanks for the update. Have they started to fill it back up yet or is that not for another couple months or untill the jetty work is done.

Hey Tindude, long time no fish. They don't start filling Pelican until after November 1. Most of the filling occurs under the ice. Anybody know a good raindance?. We could use it in the Basin.
