Any saltwater guys here???

besides Ssor aren't there any guys that fish the Gulf or the bays in here the Gulf fishing in Texas is fantastic I was down for 3 weeks this past summer and caught a ton of a wide array of fish and the good thing is you don't need a boat its nice to have one but there are so many places to shore fish or pier fish you can wade the surf or the bays and catch some big fish on light tackle I had a blast

You already know how big things are in Texas. The anglers down here spend all their free time at or on the water.

I just got word that an angler cought a 197 pound mako shark on a 60-hour trip on the Dolphin of Dolphin Dock on Thursday, Oct. 14 out of Port Aransas.
It has been some time since I landed a big one but still remember the great feeling it was. I'm just gona have to get out there and try to beat my record hammerhead of BobHall pier. It weighed in at 137lb and was 6'2 1/2" long.
