Berry report 11\6\04

[] Fishing today at the berry was hot the fish have got alot of weight put on the cutts are long and fat. we caught 22 all aroung the 2-3lbs range of them and 4 bows 3-4 lbs range we used powerbait and worm drift with no weight on line kinda slow in early morning but heated up. tried jig tipped with worm with slow results and spinner that look like minnows did well. the cutts are in a feeding frenzy.

[cool]Thanks for the report, tynyum9800. Sounds like you guys killed 'em! Which part of the lake did you have the most success at? Coarse, this time of year, I guess it really doesn't matter as the bigger cuts swim around like sharks close to shore looking to put on the feed bag before ice up, eh? Especially in the early a.m., right?

we just fished in a cove, we launched the boat from strawberry bay, it looks like the ppl trolling and jiging didnt have as much success as we did, The fish would hit the power bait early then during mid-day they were all about the worms.
