Yankee Meadows?

Has anyone been to Yankee meadows to see what the water is like? Last year at this time I took my son to fish and it was fantastic brook trout fishing. But the access was still ok with a 4x4. This year with all the extra moisture I am wondering if anyone has tried in the past few days. I think I will make a go of it in the AM and report what I find. Let me know if your interested I will make a post report by Saturday eve if there is an interest.

Ok guys, sorry it took awhile to get this report out. I had a massive computer failure dicsoverd when I got home Saturday and just got back online today. Well Saturday am was snowing and cold but the fishing was great (Although I think we missed the peak by a couple of weeks). In 2 1/2 hours my son and I caught and released 38 and kept 4 just for a little dinner for Saturday eve. Access was ok with a 4x4 although you'd better have good meaty tires. And it was still snowing when we left. Ice was on most of the surface area except atround the inlet which was were we fished anyway.
