Got to Lost Creek about 10:00 am. Fished by dam about 60 ft. out.
Ice was about 8" thick. Fish started showing up on finder right away. After setting up the shack and started fishing, bites were almost instant. Caught first fish within 5 mins. Hooked a few that got away. After about 3 hours of fishing, I probably caught about 20 fish. All were cutthroats 8-10". Sure had alot of bites that I missed. The bites were soft, you really had to watch your pole.
The depth was 50ft. Most of the fish were about midway, 21-28ft. down. Good day at Lost Creek. Dragging the Sugar Shack up the hill
by myself was a pain for about 5 mins. But it was worth it.
The wife thinks I'm crazy for torturing myself like that just for a fish.
