Mantua or Porcupine snow
#1
[black]I’m thinking of giving Mantua one more try on Friday. What is the snow like at Mantua? May also try Porcupine should I bring the snowmobiles or can you still drive to the top of the dam?[/black]

The road boss here in Cache Said they would only open it (road to the pig) when they had time. They are still out working on priority roads in the county and probably won't get to that for several days if at all. If theres too much snow they may just leave it closed. I'll try and put some pressure on them to plow it though.

I talked to a guy yesterday at Causey that was at Mantua earlier in the day and he did not feel the ice was safe. Bee careful!! It is not worth the risk. It has been a little colder so it might be ok? Is there ice a Porcupine? Jake

[cool]Fishing Waters, I was wondering the same thing about Mantua. I'm thinking of hitting it on Saturday even though the fishing isn't fast right now, at least it's a change of scenery. Gonna take my brother and his father in law whose up from Hurricane.

Predator or BLM, do either of you guys know how much snow is on the ice? Last night was cold (single digits, I think) and the next few nights are going to be colder, so hopefully it will be safe ice by
Saturday.[crazy]
