Scofield report 1-13
#1
I arrived about 9:30 to clear skies, some wind, but reasonable snow levels. Slush where I was was only about 2 inches and the ice 16-18 inches. Fishing was generally good and steady. Early on I was getting an equal ratio of big trout to little planters, but as the day wore on I caught mostly the 8-10 inchers. There weren't too many guys out today, but a fellow came down and fished with me for a while and said the slush was pretty bad toward the southern end of the lake. He got his 4 wheeler stuck there. Left about 4 PM. Lots of wildlife on the way back. All bows today, no cutts. They liked crawler pieces on the jigs today. One thing also happened today that I have never had happen to me at Scofield. A school of shiners came through a couple of times and I caught 5 of these. I invited them to join me at Strawberry at a future date. Tight lines this weekend.

[cool]Thanks for the report. That was a very nice gesture to invite those shiners to hang out with you at Strawberry. Sounds like a fun day of fishin'
