UTAH LAKE STATE PARK 2-2-05
#1
FISHED THERE FROM ABOUT 1:30 P.M. UNTIL ABOUT 6:30. I DIDN'T EVEN GET A BITE BUT DID SEE SEVERAL NICE WALLEYE CAUGHT OFF THE NORTH SIDE OF THE NORTH JETTY. ONE WAS 28" LONG & 8 1/4 LB. PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BEEN HEAVIER IF IF HADN'T BEEN BLIND IN ONE EYE.

THOSE CATCHING THEM WERE USING EITHER MINNOWS OR WHITE BASS MEAT.

I fished there on the 3rd and the bite was slow. I was only there from about 5-7:30 but I didn't see any walleye come out of the water and only two cats caught next to me. They were both caught on white bass. Some of the people there said they had been there all day and the bite had been nonexsistant all day long.

I didn't get so much as a nibble, but I do have to say it was a great sunset through the utah valley smog.
