I had a over 100 fish day @ Rockport with 40 or so being perch and the rest being trout. Fished 20 ft deep water, and was surprised by catching perch in such shallow water.
Best spot is by the inlet on the South end of the lake. Great spot.

I was out on the West side today. The trout were all at 12', regardless of the water depth. We saw quite a few (including strikes on each of the 2 rods on the first drop), but mostly were fishing the bottom for perch.

Definetlly try the inlet area and then I was told to use a white watta cricket,or white and chartruesse. Then its always good to use an oil based attractent,Crawdad or nightcrawler flavor,on your jig. PEACE!!!!!

I was at the south end last weekend doing some "tangling"
with my 4 yr old son.(He was angling and I was mostly "tangling").
Anyhow, I had my fishfinder with me. When the sonar picked up
the trout coming through at suspended depths It was fun to raise
the line to their level and pick up a few trout while mostly trying
for perch. We were fishing at a 34 foot depth. The trout were consistently coming in at 20 ft . We were fishing between3:30 -5:00
