I survived a ice storm once back in the early 70s but nothing like that . It took down trees and broke all the power lines . took 2 weeks to get the power back up .

I went through several ice storms, one almost as bad as that one, when I lived in the northwest. I remember literally having to crawl to my car once. We have ice around here, but nothing resembling a major ice storm.

I was in a few bad ice storms back east but, they were nothing like those pictures. WOW! thanks for sharing them

I just saw on KSL weather tonight that these are from Lake Geneva, Switzerland. Just thought I would share.
